New African-American Civil War Museum Opens Doors In D.C.
WASHINGTON DC — With this year marking the 150 anniversary of the American Civil War, a new, fully-renovated African-American Civil War Museum is set to open its door on July 18 in Washignton DC.
The museum now houses 5,ooo square feet of exhibits that commemorates the sacrifice of African-American soldiers in the war, compared to its original 700 square feet.
