President Obama Cries During Press Conference On Connecticut School Massacre [VIDEO]
President Barack Obama shed tears today during a press conference addressing the horrific, incomprehensible school massacre in Newtown, Connecticut.
“We’ve endured too many of these tragedies in the past few years. And each time I learn the news I react not as a President, but as anybody else would — as a parent, said President Obama. “And that was especially true today. I know there’s not a parent in America who doesn’t feel the same overwhelming grief that I do.”
As previously reported by NewsOne, Adam Lanza walked into Sandy Hook Elementary School where his mother was a teacher and opened fire.
Twenty-six people were killed, including 20 children. His mother, Nancy Lanza, is presumed among the dead.
Lanza’s girlfriend and another friend were missing in New Jersey, said an official close to the investigation speaking under condition of anonymity.
