For those of you privy to the grandiose verbosity of our dear brother Dr. Cornel West, who often dissects the intricate underpinnings of “oligarchs” and “plutocrats,” last night’s “Saturday Night Live” Update was just what the doctor ordered.
West, along with Tavis Smiley, has been extremely vocal in his criticism of President Barack Obama. A pitch perfect Kenan Thompson nails him in the following skit, which depicts Dr. West at his best discussing poverty in America and the POTUS a week after the one year anniversary of Occupy Wall Street.
