Jimmy Carter Says Gingrich Has “Racist Appeal”
It takes an ol’ Georgia southern boy like former President Jimmy Carter to call out another Georgia southern boy (Newt Gingrich) for using racism to get votes.

Carter doesn’t think Gingrich is racist (We’d beg to differ), but does believe he is using “subtle words” to attract racists’ votes, CNN reports.
“I wouldn’t say he’s racist, but he knows the subtle words to use to appeal to a racist group,” the former Democratic president said in an interview set to air on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight.”
