Homeless Students In Florida Struggle For Education
FLORIDA — A recent episode of CBS’s “60 Minutes” highlighted the growing number of homeless youth in Seminole County, where local schools are providing them with access to an education.

Local schools have provided a variety of programs to help kids through rough times, from bus routes that make stops at the motels where they live to specialized programs that emphasize social and emotional learning.
The segment also reported that the portion of children in the nation now living in poverty is approaching 25 percent. This is a problem that needs some serious addressing.
