An NC Senate committee on May 13 unanimously advanced a bill that which would create the state’s first systematic K-8 math intervention program, modeled on Read to Achieve.
After the shooting death of Takeoff in November 2022, Quavo, 32, launched the Rocket Foundation, a program that provides support and financial aid to organizations committed in the fight to end gun violence.
Joshua Washington, Quavo's personal assistant who was shot when Takeoff was killed, is suing the Houston venue where the violence happened. "They just left us there to die," Washington said.
