An NC Senate committee on May 13 unanimously advanced a bill that which would create the state’s first systematic K-8 math intervention program, modeled on Read to Achieve.
Despite comprising over 40 percent of the U.S. population, people of color are only 18 percent of all state high court judges.
The move comes as a win for The Biden Administration after their attempt to pass the president's social safety spending bill and climate change plan was delayed.
