Twitter mocked White House press secretary Sarah Sanders when she reached a new low in her constant lies. This time is was claiming that God was behind Trump‘s presidential election victory.

Sanders said Wednesday that she believes God wanted Trump to win the 2016 election, the Christian Broadcasting Network reported.
“I think God calls all of us to fill different roles at different times and I think that He wanted Donald Trump to become president,” she stated, adding, “That’s why he’s there and I think he has done a tremendous job in supporting a lot of the things that people of faith really care about.”
She also defended Trump’s demand for a $5.7 billion wall along the nation’s southern border with Mexico, which House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has called “immoral.”
“The idea that protecting the people of your country, which is the fundamental duty of being president of the United States, would in some way be immoral is a ridiculous charge,” she told the evangelical Christian news outlet.
However, it’s hard to see how God would put a president in office who has a baby snatcher policy toward desperate migrants entering this country from Mexico to seek legal refuge.
In June 2018, African-American religious leaders added their voices to the outrage against Trump’s “zero tolerance” policy of detaining and separating children from their parents caught illegally crossing the border.
The Rev. Al Sharpton, president and founder of the National Action Network, led a coalition of clergy and social justice advocates who visited separated families held in detention centers by immigration officials. They called on then-U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions to permit the visit because “all have the right to a ministerial visit,” a statement said.
Under Trump’s policy, the government had taken more than 11,000 children from their parents, according to figures from the Washington Post.
And certainly, God wouldn’t orchestrate putting a racist in the White House. Yet, that’s what Sanders want’s people to believe.
PBS News Hour published an ongoing, extensive list of nearly 100 “critical moments” of Trump’s racist history that begins in 1973 with the federal government accusing Trump and his father of discriminating against minority renters.
He has defended white supremacists in Charlottesville and created an environment in which violent white nationalists feel free to spread their hate.
After shaking their heads at Sanders, people took to Twitter to mock the press secretary.
