Mom Says School Put Son In Cage For Misbehaving
New Orleans– A mother says that her son was placed in a jail-like cage while serving an in-school suspension at McDonogh City Park Academy.
The student Eugene Allen, 14, took pictures while inside the cage, and later told his mother Latreshia Davis that he and other students were left unattended in the empty imprisonment.
WSDU reports that they have requested comment from the New Orleans Charter Schools Foundation and the Recovery School District, and have yet to receive a response.
