Racist Teens Who Killed Black Man May Have Attacked Others
The white Mississippi teens caught on surveillance video killing a Black man may be responsible for other attacks on homeless Black men in the area, the head of the state’s NAACP told ABCNews.com.
James Craig Anderson, 49, was beaten and mowed over by a group of white teen’s pickup-truck. Surveillance video aided in the prosecution of attacker Deryl Dedmon.
Jackson police spokeswoman Colendula Green said detectives had received a call from “one person” saying that “white people” were beating up on homeless African Americans. They looked into it, she said, and couldn’t substantiate the claims.
