Shooting At Bishop Eddie Long’s Church
Lithonia, GA– A shooting took place on the parking lot of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, GA last Saturday.
DeKalb County police were called to the scene at 5:30 p.m., reports the Atlanta Journal Constitution. A male who was found shot in the parking lot remains in critical condition.
Both the motive and suspect are unknown and no further details are availale as of this report.
Embattled Bishop Eddie Long, who has been in the news for an alleged all-male sex scandal, is the pastor of New Birth.
DeKalb police spokeswoman Mekka Parish said this incident is not connected to the church.
