Shocker! Cain Surges To Tie With Perry For Second Behind Romney
Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain continues his meteoric rise as a new poll has him tied with former favorite Rick Perry for second behind Mitt Romney.
The poll shows Cain and Perry tied at 16 percent, while Romney leads with an overwhelming 25 percent.
“That is great news that says that the flavor of the week might have some substance,” Cain told Politico Tuesday.
The remark was a dig at Sarah Palin who called Cain the “flavor of the week” after his Florida Straw Poll victory.
