Police Arrest Suspect In Stray Bullet Shooting Of A 2-Year-Old
Staten Island police have arrested a man who inadvertently shot a 2-year-old baby after firing on and missing her father and uncle.
Damark King, 19, is charged with assault, weapons possession, criminal use of a firearm and reckless endangerment.
King hit 2-year-old Samyah Bailey with a stray bullet outside her Staten Island home on Wednesday.
With blood dripping down into the little girl’s eyes, Williams whisked Samyah into a car and rushed her to the hospital. They were met by an ambulance along the way, and got a police escort.
