Mother Arrested For Rape, Murder of Daughter With Incestuous Nephew

A North Carolina mother and her lover—her 24-year-old nephew, are behind bars today in connection with the brutal rape and murder of the woman’s 23-year-old daughter.
42-year-old Dawn Ward was arrested Thursday after her daughter Brittini Ward was found raped and murdered last month.
Police say they were called to Ward’s home in May after getting a tip from an extended family member.
