GALLERY: Famous Men Of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
On December 4, 1906, seven men at Cornell University founded the first Black intercollegiate fraternity. Over the years, a number of African-American leaders in various arenas have been part of this organization, which aims to promote brotherhood and service.
