First Black Woman N.J. Attorney General To Be Sworn In Today
From the Press of Atlantic City:
Paula T. Dow will be sworn in as New Jersey’s Attorney General this afternoon.
Dow, Essex County’s Prosecutor since 2003, will now lead the 9,000-employee Department of Law and Public Safety.
The Democrat was tabbed for the position by Republican Gov. Chris Christie in December. She is the first African-American woman to serve as New Jersey’s Attorney General.
