Mayhem! Teen Girl Shot And Killed “For Enjoying Day At The Beach”
NEW YORK — Tysha Jones, a 16-year-old high school sophomore from Harlem was shot and killed at Brighton Beach in Brooklyn, after gunmen open fired on a group of people, injuring four of her friends.
A fight broke out on the boardwalk around 5:20 p.m. and a few minutes later, a gunman opened fire on the crowd.
The New York Daily News reports:
“Tysha got killed for enjoying a day at the beach,” a devastated family friend, Glenda Farr, said Friday morning.
“She was so excited about graduating from high school and going to college.
“Everyone around here loved her.”
