Roland Martin talks with Major General (Ret.) John Hawkins about repealing Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.
According to a Pentagon study two-thirds of the military say that allowing gays to openly serve will not inhibit them from doing their job. Roland asks Major General Hawkins if he thinks Congress will eventually pass the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell and how does he believe leadership will implement it. Maj. Gen. Hawkins told Roland he believes Congress will eventually pass the repeal.
