Newly-divorced Elin Nordegren spoke out for the first time in nine months to People magazine, telling the publication she initially wanted to make the marriage work even after learning of hubby Tiger Woods’ tawdry affairs.

“I have been through the stages of disbelief and shock, to anger and ultimately grief over the loss of the family I so badly wanted for my children,” the 30-year-old mother of two told the magazine.

Nordegren said she was “blindsided” by the affairs and had no idea that Woods was cheating on her with a number of party girls and porn stars.
