Clothing Brand Supreme Created A Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Hoodie And Seriously Failed
Another company has decided to capitalize from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy. Clothing brand Supreme dropped their lookbook for the spring/summer 2018 season on Monday, which included a collection of Dr. King hoodies. See below:

Reportedly, Dr. King’s estate approved Supreme’s use of his image. Just as a reminder, Intellectual Properties Management, Inc. is the “exclusive licensor” of the estate of King — not his family. Therefore, whenever you see Dr. King in media, just know the money is not going to his family or the communities he fought for, it goes to Intellectual Properties Management, Inc.
