The 59th Annual Grammy Awards gave artists the opportunity to use their performances, and acceptance speeches, to speak passionately about what matters most to them. When A Tribe Called Quest took the stage they continued that trend, speaking out against racism and the policies and rhetoric of President Donald Trump.
Following an emotional tribute to the late Phife Dawg, the iconic rap group committed the rest of their performance to voicing their beliefs in an incredible way.

The veteran rappers proved once again that they are not afraid to speak out against the injustices they see in the world.
