Television host Steve Harvey is the latest person to join the list of celebrities that have visited Trump Towers in New York City for a meeting with the President-elect. According to Harvey, the two met on Friday to discuss Donald Trump’s strategies for urban development and ways to better inner city communities, reports the Huffington Post.

The Family Feud host says that he was invited by both President Obama and Donald Trump’s transition teams. “I was invited here by both transition teams [Obama’s and Trump’s] and it was a really cool meeting,” Harvey told reporters, according to the Post. “He introduced me to Ben Carson. … We’re gonna team up and see if we can bring about some positive change in the inner cities, which I felt was my only agenda, and he agreed. And he wants to do something, and he realized that he needs some allies in that department, and he seemed really sincere about it.” Ben Carson was nominated by Trump to lead the nation’s Department of Housing and Urban Development.

After the meeting, Harvey took to Twitter to give more context about his discussion with Trump. He wrote that it seems like he “genuinely wants to make a difference.” He says that Chicago and Detroit are among the list of cities that Trump wants to focus on.

After news spread that Harvey sat down with Donald Trump, many people expressed their outrage on Twitter.

Other celebrities who have met with Donald Trump post-election include rapper Kanye West, former NFL players Ray Lewis and Jim Brown, and actor Leonardo DiCaprio, reports Business Insider.
