This has probably been one of the toughest years for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, both as a couple and as individuals.
Us Weekly is reporting that Kim Kardashian may be ready to distance herself from her husband and start a new life as a single mom. A source revealed that although the reality star, who was married twice before, isn’t in a rush to sign divorce papers, and “it will take some time before she can do anything, but she doesn’t want to stay married.”
The news comes after Kim withdrew from the spotlight after her traumatic October robbery, and Kanye was recently hospitalized for an alleged mental breakdown. Experiences like those will cause a rift between any couple–even the super famous and attention-loving KimYe.
But the distance between the couple reportedly began to widen after Kanye was released from UCLA Medical Center following a nine-day stay. The rapper is now receiving outpatient treatment at a Los Angeles-area rental, while Kim has remained with the children in Bel-Air. An insider added, “[Kim] is being very protective and doesn’t want Kanye around the kids right now.”
For now, sources say that Kim won’t make any decisions until ‘Ye is fully recovered. A friend of the Kardashians tells US that until then, “She’s being a supportive wife. She cares about Kanye and feels relieved he’s getting the help he needs, but she’s felt trapped for a while.”
