Active Shooter, Possible Hostage Situation Reported At Amarillo Walmart

According to police, there is no ongoing shooting at a Walmart location in Amarillo.
According to the Randall County Sheriff’s Office, at least one person is being held by the suspect in what authorities are describing as a “workplace violence situation.”

Police in Amarillo, Texas are responding to reports of an active shooter and a possible hostage situation in a Walmart store in the city.
Police are urging customers to stay away from the store. Law enforcement officials have also evacuated people from the building, Reuters reports.
There are no confirmed gunshot victims. Police did not offer details about the suspect.
