Black History Month: Black Movie Directors & Producers
How African-Americans are depicted on the big screen has changed with a new class of talented writers, directors, and producers who tell stories pertaining to Black Culture and beyond.
The notion of “Black films” and “Black shows” has diminished, as films with all-Black casts break box office records and take home top honors during award season.
Here, we celebrate a few of our favorite producers and directors who are making sure our stories are told authentically in Hollywood.
