Baltimore Police Commissioner Anthony Batts held a press conference Thursday to announce the findings of the Freddie Gray investigation were handed over Thursday morning to the Maryland State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby, a day early. Over 30 detectives worked full-time on this case.
New information was made public that was previously unknown by investigators. That new information included that an extra stop was made by the police wagon at a location that was not previously reported, which was discovered via camera footage from a private camera.
Batts assured the media that Mosby is dedicated to getting justice in this case. “This does not mean that the investigation is over,” Commissioner Batts repeated. He promised every lead will be investigated.
