Houston police allege that Wilson raped his ex-girlfriend’s teenage daughter and his infant niece. By September, the teen told a caseworker at the Children’s Assessment Center that she had been having sex with Wilson and was pregnant.
The Chronicle reports:
In both cases, the victims were infected with HIV and herpes. The infant also was diagnosed with chlamydia, law enforcement officials said.
The investigation that led to Wilson’s arrest began in November 2013 when the younger child was brought to the Texas Medical Center because of a suspicious growth on her genitals.
Lab tests later confirmed the sexually transmitted diseases.
Because of the infections, doctors had to perform genital reconstruction surgery on the child, authorities said.
Wilson was reportedly charged this week with super-aggravated sexual assault of a child and sexual assault of a child.
