[Slideshow] HBCU Rivalry, Unity At Nation’s Classic
The Howard University Bisons bested the Morehouse College Maroon Tigers 35-17 in the Nation’s Classic Sunday. Howard Senior Greg McGhee was named the game MVP having rushed for three touchdowns and passing for two more in the game.
The Nation’s Classic, held RFK Stadium in Washington D.C., is an annual event that brings together the historically black institutions, highlighting their rivalry and camaraderie. Of course, there’s more to the event than the game. There’s also a lively tailgate where both schools — and Morehouse sister institution, Spelman College –come together.
