High-intensity interval training, or HIIT, is a term used to describe workout regimes that alternates between periods of intense activity and periods of less-intense activity – or even rest. An example of such an exercise could be a sprint, followed by some jogging in place. Some experts say that HIIT is a better technique for burning fat than other workouts. At the very least, the short sessions can be just as effective as long ex.
