Faith Evans Earns Solo Nom For 'R and B Diva's Compilation Album
‘R&B Divas’ Star Faith Evans Earns Solo Grammy Nomination, Rest Of Cast Shut Out
There’s drama brewing for the cast of “R&B Divas,” and the next season hasn’t even started yet. The cast of the show has an album, “Faith Evans Presents: R&B Divas,” which Faith Evans (pictured) put together, and it got nominated for a Grammy in the “Best R&B Album” category. Sounds great right? And since the title of the album is “Faith Evans Presents,” technically she is the only one who is nominated for the award — even though Keke Wyatt, Nicci Gilbert, Syleena Johnson, and others all have songs on the compilation.

Entertainment writers Jawn Murray and Kelley Carter weighed in on “NewsOne Now” on how the other cast members are feeling snubbed because of the solo nomination, “I think moving forward if they do another album, they’ll rethink the structuring of it all,” said Carter.
