To hear the O’Jays tell it, gospel singing groups are the worst when it comes to competing with others in the industry. On “NewsOne Now” with Roland Martin, Eddie Levert, Sr. joked, gospel groups are “the most competitive people because they don’t want anyone to have more Jesus than them.”
