The Game Tiana Ricks: The Game Helps Bury Girl Killed In Own Driveway
The Game Helps Bury 6-Year-Old Girl Shot Dead In Front Of House
In an overwhelming display of compassion, “The Game” has given $10,000 to the family of a 6-year-old girl who was shot dead in front of her home in Merano Valley, Calif., over the weekend, TMZ reports.
Tiana Ricks was killed when two men approached she and her father as they stood in their driveway and opened fire, hitting both of them. Tiana reportedly turned to her father and asked, “Are you okay, Daddy?,” as she lay dying. She passed away at a local hospital. Her father, Tyrell Ricks Jr., 26, was hospitalized and later released.
The Game read about the tragedy and tweeted:
He eventually tracked down the family and pledged $10, 000 to help with funeral costs. Tiana’s mother, Marquia Macklin, told TMZ that “Game told me that he heard about my story and was really sorry. He said that he wanted to help out and put me in touch with his financial team.”
Tiana’s funeral will be Saturday. Marquia says she’s grateful for Game’s generosity, but, “It costs so much to bury her … sadly $10,000 only covers half of the casket and the plot.”
As for the suspects, police are still looking for them. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Moreno Valley Police Department.
