Missing 14-Year-Old Chicago Boy Found Stabbed To Death In Lake [VIDEO]
Julius Campbell, 14, was reported missing on March 10, 2013, and on April 12, his body was pulled from the Marquette Park lagoon on Chicago’s Southwest Side with multiple stab wounds piercing his body, reports the Chicago Tribune.
Chicago police have ruled the Gage Park High School freshman’s death a homicide.

Campbell’s mother, Christina Campbell, who described her son as “kindhearted” and “hardworking,” said that knew something wrong because it was out of character for him to disappear:
“This was out of the norm for my child,” she said. “He’d never done this before. I was telling everybody that something was wrong, something was wrong. … He calls me when he’s gonna be late. He was just one of those kids who followed the rules of the house.”
Campbell’s missing person’s case was closed on April 18 and the homicide investigation into his death is ongoing.
