Making Moves: BBW’s Tami Roman Starring In New TV Series [VIDEO]

Basketball Wives, Miami break-out star, Tami Roman, will be gracing the small screen in a new TV One series scheduled to premiere Friday, February 1.

Belle’s follows the lives and times of the Coopers, a Black family who owns an upscale soul food restaurant in Atlanta. Roman plays Loreta Cooper, the sexy, opinionated sister who is always trying to find a man.  She is joined by Elise Neal, who plays Jil Cooper, a recently divorced mother back in the family fold. The family — and restaurant — is run by patriarch, Bill Cooper, played by veteran actor, Keith David.

Bill, recently widowed after the death of his wife, Belle, two years ago, has his hands full trying to keep everything from falling apart.

Belle’s also stars Miguel Nunez and Ella Joyce.
