Trayvon Martin 7-11 Surveillance Video Released
As the wheels of justice continue to turn slowly in the Trayvon Martin case, more evidence continues to be revealed and today the surveillance video of the teen at 7-11 moments before his death has been released to the public.
The surreal images show Martin, whom many of us have never seen alive but have grown to care for deeply, dressed in a gray hoodie, tan pants and white sneakers. He is casually paying for his Skittles and Arizona Iced Tea, before attempting to make it home to his father. Moments later, he would encounter George Zimmerman, 28, who thought he looked “suspicious.” This would lead him to exit his vehicle, stalk Martin around the complex, and ultimately shoot him to death in what he would like people to believe was an act of “self-defense” after the teen “attacked” him.
Florida State Prosecutor Angela Corey saw right through that story based on substantial evidence and charged Zimmerman with second-degree murder.
