Allen Iverson Has Bank Account Seized Over Jewelry Debt
Former NBA All-Star, Allen Iverson has had his bank account seized over a debt to a jeweler for $860,00. Iverson who earned over $150 million in his NBA career had recently left the NBA to play in Turkey.
There have been reports that Iverson turned down an offer to play for the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reports:
A Georgia judge has ordered Allen Ezail Iverson to pay a jeweler about $860,000. But apparently he can’t, so his bank account has been commandeered, and his earnings, whatever of them may be left, are to be garnisheed.
