Driver Saves Kids From Burning Bus
CHARLOTTE-Lindora Richardson, a bus driver in Charlotte, North Carolina saved six children from the bus she was driving that was burning due to an electrical malfunction.
Richardson stopped the bus when she smelled smoke and escorted the students to safety before the bus burnt into flames.
WSCOTV reports:
“I was just doing my job,” said the 37-year-old bus driver, a day after her bus caught fire.
Richardson was able to evacuate the bus and lead six children from Chantilly Montessori School to safety.
“I feel like the kids were heroes,” Richardson said
