Chili’s segments will open and close each episode. The former ’90’s girl group member, who recently appeared on VH1’s Single Ladies, says be prepared to see her have a lot of fun with the tribute:
“I put a little of my Chilli sauce on it,” she told the AJC. “I did my best impression of Don Cornelius. I can’t get my voice that low but I tried!”
Chilli recounts that Cheryl Song, the long-haired Asian American dancer was inspirational to her growing up and that she worked hard to learn her dance moves:
“My hair was long but not that long,” she said. “I’d wrap a towel around my head and it would be down to my butt.”
