In 2006, Bow Wow, whose actual name is Shad Gregory Moss, owed a Florida tax lien of $91,105.61, which is still unpaid. A new lien was filed in Georgia in 2008 to the tune of $15,279.62. Finally, in 2010, a third lien was added to Bow Wow’s debt, totaling $19,700.91.
Reportedly, the spendthrift entertainer has a rep for lavishing himself with costly watches, exotic cars that range in the six figures, and going to strip clubs, where he makes it rain for thousands of dollars at a time.
Over the last few years, there has been speculation that the feds seem to be targeting rappers and placing liens on their properties. Here are other rappers who owe the feds:
1) Xzibit, $959,000
2) Doug E. Fresh, $2.27 million
3) Young Buck, $300,000
4) Swizz Beat, $2.1 million
5) Obie Trice, $298,000
6) Snoop Dogg, $600,000
