Bachmann Accepts NBC Apology For The Roots Clowning Her- Kind Of
How much can a person say sorry? When do we know that the other person is sincere? The Huffington Post is reporting that Republican Presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann was upset after her recent interview with Jimmy Fallon on NBC. The Roots, played a 1985 Fishbone song titled “Lyin Ass B—-” as Michele Bachmann walked out. Shortly before she hit the stage, Questlove from The Roots tweeted:
“aight late night walkon song devotees: you love it when we snark: this next one takes the cake. ask around cause i aint tweeting title.”
Bachmann was very angry by the choice of song the Roots played during her entry. On Fox news she said:
“This wouldn’t be tolerated if this was Michelle Obama. It shouldn’t be tolerated if it’s a conservative woman either.”

Soon after NBC’s vice president for late night programming, Doug Vaughan, wrote an apology. Jimmy Fallon also apologized on Twitter. Bachmann accepted the apology, but said she felt if they really meant it, the president of NBC would have apologized, not a senior VP. Does Bachmann deserve better, or, is she holding on too hard?
