New Ad Featuring World Leaders Kissing Angers Vatican
New ads released by United Color of Benetton for their “Unhate” campaign featuring world leaders kissing each other has angered the Vatican.
The ads feature American President Barack Obama kissing both Chinese President Hu Jintao and Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez.

The New York Daily News reports:
But Benetton’s so-called “Unhate” ad campaign, launched Wednesday, generated an immediate and angry rebuke from the Vatican.
“This is a grave lack of respect for the Pope,” Vatican spokesman Federico Lombardi said of the photo manipulation that shows the Pope smooching Egyptian Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb.
