Politician Calls Dreadlock Scarecrow With Noose “Racist”
NEW YORK-Activist and New York City Councilman, Charles Barron has called for the removal of a hanging dreadlocked scarecrow from a park in Brooklyn.
Barron called the scarecrow “racist” and NYPD took down the scarecrow and took it for evidence.

The Grio reports:
A scarecrow with dreadlocks that was hung from a Brooklyn tree by a noose was removed Wednesday after a city councilman complained that it was racist.
“This is racist,” Barron said. “It’s sick, it’s not funny, it’s not trick, or treat. It’s madness.”
