NAACP Joins The Fight To Save Troy Davis
The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People have taken up the cause of Georgia death row inmate Troy Davis.
Davis, who is scheduled to be executed September 21st, for the fatal shooting of a Georgia police officer in 1989.
There is uncertainty surrounding the case. Questions abound, even at this late date, on Davis’ involvement in the MacPhail killing. Seven out of nine eye witnesses have recanted their stories.
