Usain Bolts Wins 200m At 2011 World Championship
Speed Demon! Usain Bolt Records Fourth-Fastest Time In History
Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt stunned spectators today at the 2011 Track and Field World Championships, clocking in the fourth-fastest time ever in the 200m (19.40), reports USA Today.
Bolt’s performance comes nearly a week after he was disqualified from the 100m final, a race in which he holds the world record.
His time was the fourth-fastest ever. Bolt has the world record of 19.19, which he set at the 2009 World Championships, plus he ran 19.30 to win the Olympic gold in Beijing. Michael Johnson of the U.S. ran 19.32 for the previous record.
