DC Sniper Lee Malvo Tries To Change His Name
One of the men responsible for the 2002 Washington D.C. sniper killing spree filed a motion to change his name, but a judge rejected the plea Friday.
Lee Boyd Malvo, claimed he wanted to change his name to Joseph Lee Ostrierre, to prevent assault from other inmates, according to court filings.
But a judge denied his request, saying that no matter what he called himself people would still know he was the infamous D.C. sniper.
