Miami Takes Game One, Nowitzki Injures His Hand
LeBron & Miami Take Game One Against Dallas
Last night the Miami Heat took game one of the NBA Finals as they beat the Dallas Mavericks by a score of 92-84.
Although the Mavericks held an eight point lead in the third quarter, they were overtaken by a 22-10 point margin and the Heat picked up steam towards the end of the game. Dwyane Wade scored 22 points and was a big help in this win.
During the game, Dirk Nowitzki suffered a broken tendon in his middle finger on his left hand. He says he should be fine when game two rolls around on Thursday. This could be an advantage for Miami to use his weakness. Let’s see how it plays out then.
