Mavs Cruise To The Finals For The First Time Since 2006
Dirk & Mavs Did It! Dallas Advances To Finals For First Time Since 2006!
Last night the Dallas Mavericks had many reasons to be happy as they beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 100-96 to advance to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2006.
It only took the Mavericks five games to win the Western Conference title. Last night both Shawn Marion and Dirk Nowizski scored 26 points. This was also the highest scoring playoff game since 2007.
Dirk went on record by saying that as great as it is that they won this, he has other things in mind. Like the NBA title. “I was already thinking about the finals”, he said in the interview room. Now him and the Mavericks wait to see who they will play in the finals, either Miami or Chicago. Miami has a 3-1 lead at the moment as they go into game five tonight, 8:30 at Chicago.
