Homewrecker?! Alicia Keys Denies Breaking Up Swizz’ First Marriage
Singer Alicia Keys has broken her silence on allegations by the ex-wife of Swizz Beatz that she ruined their marriage.
Keys, who married Swizz Beatz early last year, has been accused by singer Mashonda of breaking up their happy home.
The allegations have hurt her a lot, said Keys.
“We didn’t start seeing each other until months after they had separated,” Keys told Essence in its June issue, adding that she “was aware of all the false things that were being said about me.”
“It definitely hurt,” the 30-year-old said.
