Henry Louis Gates Jr. To Host ‘Black In Latin America’ Series
Henry Louis Gates Jr. will be hosting a new four-part series on the influence of African descent on Latin America.

The series will take you inside the Black population of countries like Peru, Colombia, and Brazil to name a few.
The show’s description from the PBS Pressroom reads:
Henry Louis Gates, Jr., uncovers Latin America’s African roots in a new four-part series, BLACK IN LATIN AMERICA. On his journey, Professor Gates discovers, behind a shared legacy of colonialism and slavery, vivid stories and people marked by African roots.
The show will air on PBS starting April 19.
